Dear members of Congress;
You have failed. This is not your first failure but it’s probably your biggest. Your approval rating is so low, Nixon could get more votes than any of you. You’ve bickered and pointed fingers at each other for so long I’m not sure any of you should represent any American family anywhere in the United States of America. Every one of you should suffer the pain and agony of those being furloughed and losing their jobs. Yet you’ll sit in your cushy offices and look out and tell everyone how hard you’ve been working. Don’t bother.
Instead, return to you home district and turn in your resignations. Quit. You’ve proven that you’re ineffective in doing your jobs, so save us some time and retire. You’ll still get your cozy pension, fully funded health care and, in many cases, money for speaking on how awful it was to work with the other party. Keep telling yourself that everyone knows you were right all along. After all, what happens in Washington DC is the most important thing in the world. Never mind the millions barely scraping out a living, working two jobs, eating dog food because that is all they can afford. If the United States of America is broke, you did it not me. If you want to see who failed, look in the mirror.
I realize it will be hard to think of yourself as a failure, but you’ll get over it. I know it will be hard for you to get your own coffee, buy your own lunch, pay for your airfare, pay for your fishing trips, but that’s what we’ve been doing while you were milking the system. I actually think things would be better if every one of you was replaced. It certainly couldn’t be any worse….

Everyone disapproves of Congress but likes their Congressperson! It is high time we vote them ALL out. That means the lot. If you like your Congressperson you still have to vote them out, it’s the only way.

I totally agree and pretty much wrote the same on my fb. Time for change and change of all Senate and House of Representatives! No more privileged perks. They work for US! Totally fed up! Kudos Tim!
