Can we just hold the presidential election today? We have almost six months more of mudslinging to listen to. Is there anyone out there who actually doesn’t know who they are going to vote for? Out of the millions of voters, who’s going to change their vote after hearing how bad, corrupt, unfit, unstable, dishonest, or whatever each candidate is or what each has done, will do or could do. These are like deranged concert tours crisscrossing the country. We’ve got assault weapons on one side and peace flags on the other. We have blue versus red. We have working class versus business class. What we don’t have are solutions.
No one is talking about solutions. The only thing being said is “they” don’t know what they are talking about. We are right for you. Vote for me. Make America great again. I will fight for you.
I’d like to know where the common sense politicians are, if there are any. Who hasn’t been bought by a political organization or group? Who is in our political system to make a difference for us, the common American citizen? How much time does each congressperson or senator spend trying to raise money for his or her campaign instead of actually working on all the problems and solutions?
Here’s my thought. There are those on the far left and those on the far right; Boehner versus Pelosi as an example. What about the three hundred congress members in the middle? Why don’t they form a coalition and take control of the house. Show some character and stand up to the long-time members who think they deserve to be in charge. You were elected to lead not to be a follower of people who are destroying our country. Your approval rating is so low, what could it hurt? Or are you so worried about being reelected you can’t and won’t make a stand?
