I want Congress to repeal the speed limits on freeways. It would increase spending on gasoline (Price is way down), increase the need for good tires and other replacement parts, plus “fuel” the economy. It would help the auto makers and auto repair businesses. So we’d be helping both large and small businesses, something the Republican Party continues to push for. It would also rid our society of some of the less talented people, those that think they are better than everyone else, like most Republican Congress Members.
“They” just voted to abolish “Obama Care”, again. They know President Obama will veto their bill and they don’t have enough votes to override his veto. So rather than address issues like infrastructure improvements, global warming, trade issues, terrorism, they waste time doing nothing.
They haven’t passed a budget in six years, voted to abolish health care dozens (or more) times, and yet “we” the voting public have an approval rating of less than 10%.
This being an election year, we get to hear how bad each party member is for the next 10 months. This on top of six months of B.S. debates.
Maybe the member of Congress should go to eastern Oregon, armed for a “Peaceful” retreat, and pout until they get their way. I’m sure we need another Air Force base in the middle of nowhere… Besides, it’s a better idea than invading another foreign desert.
So Republican Party, here’s a challenge. Actually do something that makes me want to vote for any of you.
