I believe in standing up for what you believe in, but I’m beginning to believe the Republican Party has a one track mind: kill the Health Care Plan at any cost. The vote by the House of Representatives says it is more important to defund “Obamacare” than keep the government running. If this is true then in the next election the Republicans should gain a significant number of new party members. If they’re wrong, the democrats could regain control of the house. I’m not sure which I fear more.
It has been nearly four years that Boehner has been Speaker of the House. If the democrats take control will Pelosi become speaker again? Every reelection speech reiterates bipartisan efforts and working together. I haven’t seen any of it in the last six years! I thought “these” people represented us, not special interest groups in Washington DC. I guess I was wrong.
