We as humans can be very kind and very cruel. What is happening around the world right now is cruel. Whether it is Syria, Egypt, or North Korea, those in power are using cruelty to control people so they will do as they are told. Each country has traditions related to religion, monarchy, tribalism or dictatorship on how they govern “their” people. In democratic countries we wonder what is going to happen.
Factions want to take control of their area for their own reasons while many young educated adults want to have a say in how their government works. There are some many conflicting groups it is hard to understand what is really going on. Some people have lived under a controlling fanatic their whole lives. How often would anyone speak out against our government if every time someone did they disappeared? Finding peace is hard. Finding peace in all the countries around the world is nearly impossible. Finding someone to hate: easy.
