I seem to be overwhelmed, again. All the news is bad, whether it’s the war in Syria, fires all across the western states, or the Fukushima radiation all across the Pacific Ocean. All these things are piled onto my own personal issues which are drowning me. There are kidnapped kids, random shootings, droughts, floods, and earthquakes. I feel helpless. I should stop watching the news and looking at the internet websites. Is anybody happy?
We’re mad at Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and anyone else who keeps pushing the boundaries of acceptable behavior. We’re mad at all of our sports teams every time they lose. With the college football season ready to begin, many have high hopes for their teams. Professional football has turned into a brutal game. The players are bigger and stronger every year and the number of injuries keeps going up. Will there be even one game where the game isn’t stopped to carry a player off. I had season tickets to the Seahawks for many years, but not anymore. I ran out of blue face paint.
