I use my computer as a tool. I use it to find information, catch up on news, follow friends and keep up with what everyone is doing. When I start up my computer in the morning I want it to be just like it was when I logged off the night before. I’m not interested in the new and exciting changes “they” want me to download; I just want it to work.
I have virus protection plus numerous other programs that want me to update every week. Someone always wants me to change to the latest and now the greatest system. Well, I don’t care. I want to be able to find my mail, my web page, my Facebook account, my bank accounts, my stock accounts, and whatever else I care about. I’ve won at least one hundred lotteries this year alone, plus I have hundreds of packages waiting for me at UPS, FedEx, DHL, and the post office. And if I need any drugs, well I can order them from someone who lives who knows where? Just go away and let me be….I just want my computer to work so I can enjoy a long bike ride this afternoon in the warmth of the sun.
