We all find ourselves in places we didn’t expect at some time during our lives. My protagonist, Andrew Davidson, finds himself as president of the United States. Everyone thinks he’s been a “dove” his whole adult life, when in reality he’d been in the far east on a secret mission after graduating from college during the Viet Nam war. Now he must face his past and the future as they collide putting the two major military powers of the world at a precipice.
With only a few people around him he can trust, Andy must delicately weave his way through the political, military and intelligence labyrinth of the United States and China as he tries to avoid imminent war between these two powerful countries.
