This time of the year can be stressful. The holidays add stress as demands for your time seem to be greater than you have. In business it is the end of the year and goals and objectives need to be met, budgets must be squeezed to stay within limits. All this and social functions are more often than any other time of the year. Stop and take a deep breathe.
Maybe you can’t do everything, but make what you do meaningful. Enjoy the sounds of the season, the decorations and cheer. Don’t drink too much, don’t over eat. Know your limits and hold the little ones in your life. They have no idea what you’re going through, they are just excited. Pause and reflect. Nobody can do everything, but we can make a difference to many.
So I ask, do a random act of kindness. Share an umbrella, open a door, let someone who’s in a ultra-hurry go in front of you. Don’t take the closest parking spot, but one further away. It will help walk off that extra cookie you had.
