I’d like to think I’ve been a lot of places, but there are so many I haven’t seen. On my last trip to Ethiopia I used the cell phone network installed by the Chinese. I had to have a different chip to make it work, but the network covered most of the country. I just sent texts, since new languages are hard for me to pick up.
We talk about how much money we spend around the world, but there are other countries also “investing” around the world. How should we invest in the world? Those decisions are made by every administration from Kennedy to Obama. Do Obama’s ties to Africa help or hinder the United States? All I can say this big mural was in Kenya.
